Seldom that I choose to dine in a Japanese restaurant. One, I am not familiar with some of their dishes and two, just getting inside one makes me uncomfortable (people will greet you in unison-- uhhh.. as if they're saying "Let's welcome, Mae!" in Japanase!-- really, I like my privacy). But because of my love of adventure in food, I agreed to have a (some-kinda) date at Isshin (Arnaiz Ave., Makati City) one time. Ya-ah! It was as if everyone shouted "Mae has a date!" when we came in. Geez! Quiet please. LOL! The service was great and my date was good though. I've tried every weird stuff a Japanese cuisine has. Problem is, I can't remember their (dishes) names. Onaka Ga Suita. That, I remember not saying when we took off. I think I'm ready for some more Japanese food-adventure. Date or not. It's food! FYI: Did you know that most of the Japanese restaurants in Makati City are along Arnaiz Ave. (the old Pasay Road)? Yup! You can hop at every Japanese restaurant there! For Korean resto, they're hidden somewhere in Makati Ave and P.Burgos St. |
