Tomtom went on a trip today. He grabbed Franco by the wrist. Franco stepped on the gas pedal With Tomtom guiding him; From Piscataway to Jersey City Bilib na sana ako nahagilap ako sa sulok ng Jersey City eh. But when I saw Tomtom, nalipat ang bilib ko kay Tomtom. LOL! They were on the road for about 40 minutes Got to my office safe and sound "I want Italian," Franco said. "Italian is fine," I replied. "Italian it is," Tomtom agreed. "I know a good place," Franco suggested. "How do we get there?" I asked. "I know how to get there," Tomtom retorted. We found ourselves (fine) dining at Casa Dante Location: 737 Newark Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07305 For starter, we had Stuffed Medjool Dates (stuffed with gorgonzola rossini cheese and walnuts wrapped with prosciutto di parma drizzled with a balsamic reduction). Main dishes were Rigatoni pasta with Vongole sauce (classic clam sauce, white) and Pollo Rollatine (boneless chicken breast stuffed with smoked mozzarella and spinach wrapped in prosciutto served in a sundried tomato and basil cream sauce). Food was great. Tea was overflowing (that's why we don't need Lipovox at this time). Conversation was good (Franco wants to be a magician and I've given up on that dream a long time ago! LOL!). Franco drove again from Jersey City (NJ) to Staten Island (NY). This time, I asked Tomtom to take a break. I took his job instead. I don't know any other route, So we just went through my usual bus routes. We made it. Hah! Now I know I am really good! *hehe* Kuya Rey brought us to Java Den Location: 3135 Victory Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10314 Bubble tea for the boys For me, it's a cup of coffee Conversation was fun. Franco couldn't remember the brand of his acoustic guitar (say Ahhh! It's at the tip of your tongue!). I discovered something though, he's calling someone (uhh.. perhaps something?!), MY ONLY ONE. Hold on to that stock. You'll learn a lot from Kuya Rey. Oh well. Time to call it a day. To Kuya Rey, Franco, and yeah sige na nga isama na rin natin si Tomtom, Thank You for a fun Thursday. |
