Pinoy Christmas is never the same without these bibingka (native rice-cake) and puto-bumbong (made from purple-colored ground rice cooked in bamboo tubes). And how good is it to have these two any time of the year? Even the hotels would serve them for breakfast (like at the Hotel Intercontinental in Makati City, where I had the best bibingka and puto-bumbong ever, over breakfast buffet with my friend, C3).
Surpirse, surprise! For bibingka-lovers, there seemed to be hundreds of Ferino's Bibingka in the the city. Even malls like Robinson's Galleria has one. But if you would want to try another one, there's this store besides Ferino's Bibingka at Gilmore St. (San Juan City, MM) that serves fluffier bibingkas (forgot the name tho'). I prefer that over Ferino's.
