I am quite sure that all of us have gone through a lot of rejections in our lifetime. Rejected because some people doesn't like you. Rejected because some people like you but they can't deal with you right now. Or rejected because they like you but they can't deal with you, ever. There's quite a few of its kind and it could be expressed directly or implied in a lot of ways. Still, it is simply called "rejection". Can you reject someone who has rejected you first? Can you block someone who has blocked you first? No. You can only accept what they say (or not say), smile, turn your back, and walk away. I did that yesterday. The moment I saw the eyes and the excitement of seeing me, I knew I was considered. But I just have to be rejected. And so I smiled, turned my back, and walked away. There are things that we're not capable of controlling. There are actions that we are not capable of understanding. But there will always be something that we can do to ease the pain. For me, there are two things: I cry and I pray. In life, there's a subject that is called, Faith. |
