I have nothing against a long-distance relationship but I don't prefer one.
I hate seeing people suffer from the word 'goodbye'. I hate seeing couples living in two different places. I could feel their pain and their longing... and I hate that feeling!
I never knew my father well. One, I was four when he died. Two, he's always away for work (I think he's a seaman then or he worked in Saudi-- I'm not really sure). I can only imagine how my parents would long for each other's embraces and kisses. It's sad. And I hate that thought. Couples living in two different world. But yeah, it's for our own good. But still... *sigh*
It is impossible for a long-distance relationship to work if there's no solid foundation. Friendship. Love. Commitment. Dedication. Focus. Ok I take that back... it could be possible for some. But first, the FOUNDATION.
