Week 9, Day 3: 104 lbs. I was impressed when I weighed myself on Saturday (I did my Day 3 program). I know I should keep myself focused on my goal. So, anticipating my lack of time to visit the gym this week, I have decided to go on with my plan-- get myself another set of dumbbells (I already have a pair of two-pounds). I was late for the last morning mass in Greenbelt today. I thought it starts at 11am but it was already homily when I got there (10:30am pala ang start!) so I decided to shop a little. I bought some inner garments then window shopped for some dress that I could use for the wedding that I will be attending in August. After which, I went to buy my clear sleeves at a bookstore, saw the book, The Catcher in the Rye (J.D. Salinger) and bought it, too. Then I went to buy my award for droppin' some pounds this week. I know... I know my weight is kind of dancing but I really felt good today even if some of my muscles are aching from the added weight that I lifted yesterday.
So there, I bought myself a trophy-- a 6-pound dumbbell! Then with the plan to read The Catcher in the Rye while waiting for the first afternoon mass to start (3pm), I went to have a large order of caramel latte, Chinese chicken salad, and a piece of oatmeal cookie from The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in Greenbelt. *uh-ohh*
I was planning to do my 40-min brisk walk home but I was carrying a 6-pound dumbbell (plus the other stuff I bought). I only walked for around 15 minutes and took a ride home. Well, I have my set of dumbbells now, anyway. And it's the color of my yoga mat! *grinning*
