Detox Diet? Not now.

I am not losing weight. I am not gaining any either. The last time I stepped on the scale, I was 118 lbs. I cannot believe I got to be a 118-pounder. Sometimes I think my back pain is due to my being heavier now but then, how heavy is 8 lbs, anyway?. I was usually a 110 or below. Well, that was when I was in the Philippines and was still active in playing my sport (badminton, of course), working out in a gym, and was into body detoxification. So, I cannot do something about my current weight, eh? I am eating rice once in a while now, uhh, I can't help it when I have prepared adobo rice. I am weak in saying no to that. Hah! Do not temp me. I will give in.

So, since I am in bed a lot of times in a day now, trying to relax my back (no to prolonged sitting and standing), I was thinking. If I cannot lose weight, I might as well try to go back to my healthy lifestyle. Since I cannot go back to my sports yet, maybe I'd try detoxification again, eh?

I got into reading about the benefits of colon cleansing and instead of taking notes of their detox diet, what has interested me was their list of the foods to avoid when you're in a detox diet, which are: sugar, dairy products, wheat, gluten, coffee, yeast, alcohol, food additives and preservatives, chocolate, high-fat foods... to name some. Then I had to say, Thank goodness I am not into a detox diet now (I am having Lucky Me instant pancit canton and Coke for lunch). So... maybe soon, I'd do the detox again.
