Universal Language.

"Adadada-blah! #%^*+~!"-- A Chinese Western Union agent said to me with glee. I said, "I am sorry. What?" Then she repeats it with the same expression. I was almost laughing at her. The other agent (who, I think needs a shampoo for thinning hair) said, "it's your fun hat she's talking about." I was wearing my cat-hat with earmuffs. She likes it.

It's cool but don't you find it inappropriate to to talk and worse to write in Chinese, Korean, Spanish, or whatever, when you are not in your own country; when you know that a lot of people couldn't understand you; and most especially when you are addressing a note or a receipt to someone who doesn't speak your language? I do find it inappropriate especially when you're not in China or Korea or Mexico. You are in America!

Reminds me how we, Filipinos, are so much better. Wrong grammar, spelling and all; we say, we write what needs to be said in English. Even if we end up bleeding and our tongue, twisted. We RESPECT the recipient of our thoughts; we RESPECT the general public.

Maybe sign language should be taught in school as a universal language. Could be better. What d'ya think?
