One: I have been a fan of Artscow for over a year now. They do online printing. It is where I submit my digiscraps for printing and for binding a photobook. But there are things that I'd like to do that I have to consider the processing time. Simple things like invitations, cards, labels, and even some 8x10s or A4s. My gadgets are still incomplete. I still don't have a paper/board cutter and a hole/driller. Anyways, I saw this old Canon Pixma iP1800 printer that Sir H has given to Carlos not so long time ago. Fortunately, we were able to make it work. Only problem is I am not sure if the ink heads are still good. Bought 2 packs of ink online yesterday. Can't wait to see it working again. Two: Since the road test (on my back) on Friday was a failure, I had the whole day of Saturday for rest and stretching amidst the pain. I have been skipping on my pain reliever since Saturday and I'd say, I am much better now since I can tolerate the pain and the cringing. SC said it might take 4 to 6 weeks before I get back to normal again. That's sad. But hey, that is much better than the 3 months that I was able to endure way back in 2006, when I had the radiating pain from my back down my legs-- and yes, that's 3 months. Anyways, on Sunday, I did not want to miss another mass. And for the record, I was able to walk straight and with less pain then (as long as I am not carrying anything, I am good). Top it with dinner at a Korean restaurant (we tried Soju) somewhere in Manhattan, Sunday was superb. FYI, the travel plan is still on. I was finally given by my sponsor, a go signal to go on. But first I have to concentrate on getting better. So if you see me carrying something heavier than a rice cooker, please ask me to put it down, weh? *wink* |
