I have always believed that there's good in every one no matter how bad they may seem to be. I have always believed that we should treat everyone well, the best way we could, no matter how bad they are to us or to anyone else. We should always live by the golden rule. That is, "Do unto others what you want others to do unto you." Right. But Sometimes we do things to others what they have done unto us. Tell me you are not guilty for doing so. I am not perfectly a good person. I have my bad moods. I have my bad habits. I am bad at times. But there's one thing that I believe in-- that no matter how bad a person treats us or the other people, we should TRY to reciprocate it with good deeds; with understanding; with love. And we should always be conscious about how we treat others. Kids respond to love. Old people, too. Love begets love. Hate begets hate. Like the old cliche goes, an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. Why be on the negative side of things when you can be on the positive? Why be the bad guy when you know you are capable of being the good one? Be nice and people will learn, in time, a good lesson. Be nice and that's how people will remember you. And when they do, they will have no choice but to pay the goodness forward. Because how can a person stay mad when the world is so good to him, right? If we can make a difference to a life of a person, why shouldn't we? If I can make a difference to even a single person in this lifetime, why shouldn't I? |
