| The Fall of the Maple Leaves |

I think our neighbor is putting their house on sale. With the crisis now, maybe it's better if they have their property featured on a site (like the Wilmington NC real estate), eh? NOMB, I know. I was just curious while doing my thing outside. I can't drive my truck and do some mowing now. Like the leaves of every tree, the grass is changing colors as well. The Fall: Some says it is the end of the exuberance of summer and the preparation for the slumber of winter. For me, it is the grandest among the four seasons. Tho' I have yet to experience them all, I knew, even before, that I will love the Fall. I love the colors of Autumn. Green to light green, to yellow, to orange or red, to brown. Ahhh.. the magnificent work of nature. And since I can't mow the lawn now (missing it!), I tried another fun task in the yard-- raking and collecting maple leaves of different colors. Never mind the cold breeze outside and my hands getting callous but I just can't get enough of the falling leaves from the maple trees. I can even sit and watch them fall if I want! And today was not an exception. *wink* Fallen, though they are, they are adored. |
