I remember as a kid, I used to love stationery and cards. One of my friends could afford to buy stamps so we were able to make our own set. We cut some papers in a certain size, glue them on the sides to look like a pad, and stamp on each page. To have a scented set, we get those tiny scented gel beads that we could buy from a stand outside our school. Then came the digital world. I got hooked to Photoshop and Digiscrapping (did a few digital invites, too, for a friend). But it wasn't long until my love for papers and of cutting came back. I grabbed every opportunity I have to make a set of invitations for families and friends. I fell in love with Michael's and Lee's and Party City. I was in denial (that I am addicted) until I saw how many hole punchers I have already purchased (I have all the sizes now yet I am still looking for a circle cutter). And when my Cricut Expression 2 personal electronic cutter came, I started making at least one sample card each week (if there's such job out there like it, oh, how I wish to get such full-time job!). Now my childhood came rushing in. I want those scented tiny gel beads so my cardstocks are scented, too. I tried Googling it and what kept on popping out was a site for Wholesaleinsurance.net and the gel beads for homes (hmmm... Maybe I could use that). But really, Does anyone knows what I am talking about? |
