Not Just A Ferry-Ride Someday
Wednesday, 19 March 2008
I was invited by BS one time for a buffet dinner in Karport (The Fort). She's supposed to be with JS, her hubby, but he's left for the U.S. to attend to his dad who was sick then. When we got to Karport, the other couples started looking at us. Maybe they thought we were partners, eh?! BS started filling-up a form and a girl interviewed us.

"She's your..." the girl tried to be polite.
"My friend," BS replied at once. We were both laughing. She asked a lot of questions actually. Some were irritating but it was alright, dinner was good. *wink*.

It's not actually just a dinner. After dinner we were asked to stay for 90 minutes and listen to a guy who would try to explain their hotel promos. I pity these people. He came and introduced himself. It was obvious that he's nervous. His hands were sweating (not as bad as mine would though) and shaking. We were nice to him. He's survived I think but he didn't get any of us to sign-up for their promo. Good but too expensive.

He asked me what I want and where I want to travel someday. He gave me this magazine full of destinations. I said I wanted to try a cruise-- a royal caribbean. Yes, I never tried that. The farthest I have been to was just a ferry-ride.

It would be great to try cruising someday. What d'ya think?
