No mittens. No Hello.
Sunday, 13 February 2011

We all (ok, maybe most of us) know that babies like grabbing anything and putting them into their mouths-- to bite, gnaw, or drool on. Today at the NY Kids Club, a mother thought this baby  would like to kiss her child. They find it cute. I was tempted to burst everyone's bubble by saying: Actually, he doesn't know what a kiss is. What he really wants to do is eat your child alive. (I said I was tempted, ayt?) ;) -- Facebook update on Feb. 10, 2011.

On that same day, M has finally learned how to wave his hand whenever he wants to say 'hi' (he can't talk yet) or when you say 'hi' to him. On our way from the New York Kids' Club, he suddenly took out his hand (he removed his mittens, to my shock!--- it's like 20•F outside!) and he started waving his hand. Now that was cute but without the mittens? Oh no. I cannot tolerate that. So I told him, "Little man, you can take out your hand and wave all you want as long as you don't take off your mittens." Truth is, I think we need to get him a bigger pair of mittens.

* Sorry, Jen, I missed your call about those routers. I hope they're all up and running now.
