![]() Limoncello, according to Wikipedia, is an Italian lemon liqueur mainly produced in Southern Italy, and is traditionally made from Sorrento lemon. It is also traditionally served chilled as an after-dinner digestivo (a drink taken as an aid to digestion, either before or after meal). Now I think, there could be diet pills that actually work, but for those who are trying to just burn what they have just taken, this could work. I made my own a two weeks ago and served my first glass on my birthday. Below is how I made it (from a page that I ripped off from a magazine). Ingredients:
4 cups Vodka 1/2 cup lemon rind 3 cups water 1 1/2 cups sugar Mix the Vodka and the lemon rind. Seal it tight. Let stand for two weeks. After two weeks, mix it with the syrup (water and sugar). That's it. It's so easy. The taste, according to C, is like Maxx candy (lemon flavored). Only with a kick. A strong one. |
