I love my bus ride every morning. The N21 at 6:11am. I don't know the people that I am riding with but one thing that I have noticed is that the usual driver knows his passengers. Like the Shepherd knows His sheep. When he (the driver) sees me crossing the street, trying to catch up, he'd joyfully wait at the bus stop. During wintertime, he'd even stop in the middle of the road, even it's a block away from the designated bus stop, just so I could safely hop in. He knows where the regular passengers get on and get off, too. One time, he made a stop when he thought that a passenger forgot to signal a stop. Apparently, that regular passenger took the next bus following us and he did not notice. Another thing that I like is how the passengers seem to know everyone riding with them. I know them by face; well, not everyone because I am not that observant. This week, a lady, sitting in front, almost missed her stop because she was sleeping. A man from the back got up and walked to wake her up. Ahh.. these are some people who deserves a gift, uhh... like a Momentum Atlas? Why not?! *wink* |
