I had this new discovery from the grocery-- Rice & Oats, which says guilt-free, all-day snack. Tried the light-sugared cinnamon and the vegetable/asparagus ones. I like the taste of the latter. The first one tastes like "ampao" said Sir D. That's popped rice for some. I should watch my diet carefully now. Whether I pull some strings at POEA or not, I might be required to have my medical exam soon. And by diet, I don't mean taking Leptovox or the like and lose weight. I am 4 lbs away from my goal but I am feeling good about my daily nourishment with the aid of Bee Pollen and C-Lium in the morning and oatmeal and milk at night. Being able to maintain my current weight has got to mean something like I am doing something right and with consistency, I know I will do better.
Did I just say I am doing something right? When I went home around 4am this morning, had less than two hours of sleep, and no decent breakfast at all? And I was not productive in the office today. My bad. And to add to my already-guilty feeling, I can't workout tonight. No way without enough rest. No regrets though. When JJ called me to join them for some bottles of beer after our badminton games, I said yes. I had two glasses of cranberry juice at Astica bar (N.Domingo, Corner Granada St. Brgy. Valencia QC ) while the boys (JJ, KD, RG, and AP) had their bottles of cold San Mig light. No alcoholic drinks for me on weekdays. I stick to that.
I was supposed to go home a little past 12mn (I wasn't sleepy yet but I have this habit of trying to hit the sack at 1am at most on weekdays and I don't want to disregard that) but didn't have the heart to leave the four boys behind, not especially when they stand in front of you giving you the "di na mauulit ito" look, which could be true-- AP is getting married and will be based in Dubai. RG is getting married and will be based in New Zealand. While KD and JJ have no plans to leave the country yet, I may leave the country soon. The heck! I could stay for another hour or so! So off we went to try Seventy Seven Cafe/Bar (Kamuning Rd. QC) where the boys had their, yet again, ice-cold San Mig lights and I had two cups of Cafe Americano (I love their cheese sticks by the way).
Then off we went to Joey's 4xForce resto/bar to meet AP's M and for their last round of beer. I just watched them take their last gulps then. Well, Although I am suffering the consequences of not having enough sleep last night, I sure enjoyed the mid-week night-out. JJ called to check on me this morning. My alarm clock did not fail me, by the way. While he, is late for his meeting. I know you're going to cry when I'm gone, JJ. *teasing* But let us not abuse our health.
Not (again) tonight. *wink*
