Where: LIRR train from Hicksville to Central Islip When: Sunday I said I would try to have lunch with the family on Monday. It won't really be hard for me to travel back and forth since we're on the same city. I have limited time before my flight to the west coast and I needed to fix and attend to lots of things before my week-long vacation. Yesterday I said I was going to catch on my sleep. But with lots of things going on in my head (like there's no internet at home and I have a dozen of tasks due before I leave-- it felt like there were some point of purchase displays in my head and I want to grab each item, get one over with and move on to the next item), I decided to do what I can do. At night it was confirmed that S could cover up for my Sunday job. That means I can have lunch with Ate Pam, Kuya Cris, and Ienne and at night start wrapping some gifts and packing my stuff. Monday, I can sleep late (maybe) and head to the post office. Good timing. I am almost there. My ticket said it stays valid six months from the date of purchase; it also said that I have purchased it on the 20th of June 2010; has it been that long since I last saw my godchild, Ienne? She's grown. She's turning 1 in January. She's wearing a pair of glasses now. I've seen her photos in Facebook. She's cute. And I bet she remains friendly. I really like it that ever since she was born, she's been exposed to people. Good crowd. Her social skills are being developed. The day-care wasn't really a bad idea. Now time to meet her once again. I am getting off this train in 2 minutes. Ah! How efficient these rides are! |
