It isn't writer's block. If only I could plug a USB flash drive in my head, I'd do that. I have lots of time to write lately, it's just that my internet connection at home is down and the sack is so tempting that instead of doing my drafts, I just have to give in and hit the sack. zzzZZZ... and GreenApple's doing the same.
I haven't even gone back to the gym since Tuesday. I planned to brisk-walk home last Thursday night then lift some weights but I ended up walking for more than two hours carrying half of my weight (with GreenApple and two of my training/reading materials). It is actually more than what I needed for a work out but instead of ending it with a trip to sauna, I ended up in our (knee-high) flooded street-- had to ask a favor from D to bring me my pair of slippers. (Woah! Never mind the floating diapers, I just wanted to go home!)
I'm trying to catch up on my sleep and on my reading lately. It's The Art of War and October 2007 edition of Reader's Digest for now. Yup, that's 2007. I am that late!
For all those who await my email, excuse the delay. This is hitting two birds with one stone.
I am doing this at JS and B's place in QC. It's badminton night once again. I can't wait to feel the heat inside the court and sweat.
Speaking of badminton, I watched BS play in their tourney in Makati. The plan was, we'll have lunch at their place, watch some movies, connect to the internet, then leave for Greenhills Badminton Court (GBC).
But it was a long wait for her next (and last) game. I got there around 11am and her next game was at 3pm. I know it was a waste of time (if I am going to assess it on how productive I was during the four-hour wait)-- I wasn't productive at all. But we survived.
We had coffee at the nearest Starbucks, tried to take a nap at one of their service van (one of their company-drivers were kind enough to offer it when they saw us trying to sleep in B's car), then sat and just watch the others play, and off we left the court after they (B and partner) have won their games.
Later I have to burn the calories that I've had the whole week. *burp* Food was great at JS and B's. But of course, dinner with the E!s will be fun again tonight.
