Let April Fools Be April Fools

Something's wrong with gMail saving today. I usually rely on its auto-save feature. When composing a blog entry (as I did on this one), a personal email, and even that for a business one...er... especially for business I should say.

I was composing one email for my client today, pressed "Save Now" and left the page for a while as I was multi-tasking as usual-- working and entertaining myself on the yahoo groups (and tagging some spam(med) mails). Anyway, here I was, thinking that today is a normal day and that everything should work normal as well. I was wrong.

When I returned to my Drafts folder, I noticed something weird. I clicked on my recent drafts and there it was--- an empty (without the subject even) template! No content. Nothing! And that was my email for my client, by the way.

If you're a GMail user and you have encountered this, I hope you found the same solution that I've tried. You see that Print All link somewhere at the right pane of your Gmail window? Use that, it will save your life as it did mine today.

Happy (?) April Fools!!!

And here's one more. Can we just spread the word? Move to Firefox, earth people! Leave Internet Explorer behind and use Firefox! I am sorry if you are reading this and you are a fan of IE but I have got to vent it out. You see the screen shot below? Yummy, noh?

The link/page for that is empty when it's viewed in IE (thanks to Mitch and EC for checking it out for me). In the end I had to re-boot to Windows so I can see it for myself (I am really grateful for Mac's bootcamp). Can't put the exact link here as it is still under construction. I gotta find a way to solve that issue in my codes. CSS? Or purely HTML? I have no idea. *sigh* Of course I have to adjust for IE users. It's included in my job! *sigh sigh sigh*

So, that's why GMail tried to stop me from sending my email a while ago, eh?

Here's another... I am supposed to meet some of my grade school friends for dinner at the Harbour Square (CCP/Roxas Blvd. Area) tonight but just when I am about to change my clothes and leave, they had to re-sched it.

I guess I have to work on my dilemma the rest of the night then. No ice cream. No dinner out tonight. *more sighs* It's raining and it is April Fools' Day!

Happy April Fools' Day!Cool
