A new acquaintance handed me a paper bag. Inside it were four of her pocketbooks written by four different authors. Novels. She asked me one time if I read pocketbooks. I do. In my spare time. Today we met again. She asked me whose work I chose to read first. Nicholas Sparks, I said. The Wedding. I tried to start reading yesterday. I was able to read a page. I repeat, a page. Ugh! I have no spare time lately. I am having fun learning anyhow. I was able to finish the modification on the brochure yesterday and was able to submit it for printing too. Today we were able to see the print-out. I wuv it. 100 copies will be distributed in a convention in New York prolly on Friday. Yey! One work down and it was good. There's another layout to be done soon. Or two. Some business cards and logo to work on, too. And while I am blogging here, my flowchart is under deliberation together with the detailed workflow that I was able to finish tonight. Tomorrow I'd hear the verdict. Definitely, I will be creating a web-based system soon. Scary but I am having fun. I hope I still have time to read those books or work on Ate M's wedding photos but I gotta do what I gotta do NOW. As Ate Shirley said a while ago, "It will pay-off." Need to hit the sack now. Just wanted to keep you posted. I am still breathin'. ![]() |
