"Sama kayong dalawa ni Ria sa Baguio..."

We knew Dada Glenn and Eli were supposed to be in Baguio City on Saturday night but because Ate Shirley was bumped-off from her flight, they postponed it. Ria and I was inside Cafe Adriatico on Sunday waiting for our food (it was Ate Shirley's yet-another-despedida/get-together-- we just can't get enough of each other-- basta may chance to be together we grab it! LOL!), when Dada Glenn and Ate Shirley called us outside to tell us about Dada's surprise. Ria started jumping for joy and I started clapping and grinning and wweeeeee-ing upon hearing the news. Ate Shirley, on the other hand, was kinda wishful that her flight will be canceled again so she could join us.

We were at the Centennial (International) Airport before 6pm for her 10pm flight when much to our surprise and delight, NorthWest Airline has failed to (re)book her connecting flights to New York. Fine, NWA's service suck big time. Ate Shirley was at the airport for almost 2 days, hopping from NAIA to Centennial Airport then back to NAIA. But we were grateful for the delay on her flight. *wink*

We went back to NAIA to fix her flight sched, asked NWA to rebook her at least on Wednesday (it's my first time to really see the inside of an airport's lobby!). Then together with Eli (and Jen), we headed to my place for my things then Ria's place for her stuff. We left Ate Shirley's luggage at Ria's too.

At 11:30pm (Sunday), we were on our way to Baguio City on Dada's Avanza!!!

We're too late for the Panagbenga (Flower) festival as the parade was on Sunday. But Baguio is Baguio with or without the festival! Fun is spelled as FUN althroughout the journey.

We walked...

Ahh! Baguio City.
If there's one picture that will best describe how we felt when we said goodbye to the city, it is this one:

LOL! Laughing

You bet we enjoyed our stay. We will always have a zestful pleasure in remembering every detail of our journey. We may have come from different families and from different generations. It may have started from a simple hello online. But the impact? It will probably last a lifetime...
