My Traffic Life

I am Mae German. 34 years old. Born in Mangatarem, province of Pangasinan. I was taught and trained by Juan Dela Cruz, and I am currently being trained for more by Uncle Sam. Writing since the age of 12. Blogging since 2001. I keep a notebook and a pen in my bag, on my bedside table, and inside the bathroom. Misses a lot. Sometimes even my own voice. Loves to laugh. Sometimes even at myself. I am a work in progress. My ultimate dream is to be a SAHM. That is, if I am bound to have that chance in this lifetime... and I am.

My Traffic Rules

Don't take my words personally. At times, not even literally. This is my journal. You're my reader. My spectator. Applaud. Yawp. Yawn. Smile. Frown. Rave. Rant. Or not. Neither can I see you from where I am standing nor can I hear you.

This is not my life. Maybe just a part of it. But this is me meandering through life. My emotions fluctuate. My opinion varies. If it's too hot in here and you can't take it, leave. If it's dull and too cold, go somewhere else for warmth. I won't wipe the frown on your brow.

My stories, unless stated otherwise, are mostly fictional. Fiction could be based on reality. Still, they are fiction. Don't own it. Don't live in it. It is what it is. Leave it.

Watch out for the traffic light. Follow the rules. Cruise.

Send a Gift

It's the love month. Someone asked me if I am in love and I said, "I wish I am."

Forget it. It's not my subject now.

I am not going to talk much about the mushy-kind of love either. Not those kinds that would bring any of your lady-friends or those hopeless romantic guys to cloud nine. But this is about love. Some kinda love that has almost pulled her out of her icy shack. My kind of love. The one with a good twist sometimes.

Call her "cold" but she just made a guy feel busted when he hasn't even started pursuing. And it's a guy that she's fond of, by the way. Very fond of.

Pointless? Sometimes I think so, too.

How would you feel if a guy would turn his life 360 degrees so he can go back to square one, fix his life, and start all over again in pursuing you, even if he is not sure that you'd be there at the end of the tunnel?

This guy, he hasn't really done anything yet, but the mere fact that he's planning, then that is something. Everything will start from there. And soon, I am praying he would really work on it. Yup! I am so into happy endings! It'll be the sweetest thing a guy has ever done for love... that is if it happens. We'll see. Soon if not someday.

It could be love. Could be infatuation and fondness too. Whatever it is, as along as it's inspiring someone, let it be. That is something good. Something nice.

If the outcome is good, whether he comes back for her or not, that would still be nice. At least he's done a good thing for himself. On the other hand, if he comes back and she's no longer available, or if he did not come back and she's waiting all the while pala... err.. that's the scary part actually.

I don't want to look beyond the good stuff that I am seeing now.
