I Hope I'm Still Alive in 15 Days
Tuesday, 22 January 2008

I am in a panic-mode lately. Tensed. Pressured. Stressed. Whatever you want to call it. My heart is beating fast and as usual my hands are getting sweaty more than ever. I can feel cold sweats on my forehead. I couldn't eat and there were times that I would find myself in bed at 1:30am only to realize that I am still awake at 6am. My eyes were just shut but my mind was still in a whirlwind-state. There are times that I wanted to turn on my PC again and try to work on something. Codes! Sometimes they come in the middle of my sleep!

But no matter how hard I try. No matter how I work harder and in double-time. I can't really see the system up and running soon. The old database(s) in MS Access were not normalized and unmatched data were in every table. My approved proposal was another MS Access database and now I am working on SQL Server 2000 (I just don't see why I should still work on MS Access) on VB.net.

And I am new to VB.net (coming from a year of VB classic) and this is my first time to handle database administration (altho' I'm fond of SQL transactions-- I said I'm fond. I am not good, ok?). And the reports! I don't know how I could handle the reports. Crystal Report as usual. But I'm thinking, is it possible to use the Web Browser to display the reports so I wouldn't have to worry installing Crystal Report on every PC when it's time to deploy the system? *arrrggghhh*

I am talking gibberish! I just wanted to breathe. And now I'm done breathing. Gotta work!
I only have less than 15 days on my time-table. Any help you can give will greatly appreciated.
Eat, sleep... breathe for me! LOL!

Oh! Did I mention that I am working on a 5-in-1 system? 45-day timetable will never be enough!

Ciao! ... before I run out of breath.
