I Did 5 Miles Today
Monday, 01 June 2009

It was tempting not to get up from my nap at 5pm but decided not to give in. I left for the lake at 6pm but I went to check some stores a few more kilometers away from it, before heading for my usual run. Okay, I think I was sleep-walking most of the time. I was afloat. My mind was. But yes, I did 5 miles of a little running, jogging, and lots of brisk-walking... or simply walking. Hah! I wanted to walk with this grandma and strike a little conversation while walking by the lake, but my mind was really not in a normal state. I really think I was half asleep. *Hehehe*

I slept around 4am this morning. I received an SMS a little past 7am. Brochure will be sent to the printer tomorrow (I think) but I wanted to catch some more ZZZs. So there, my day started around 9am. I had my favorite breakfast of toasted bread, butter, and a mug of brewed coffee then went outside to continue with my little goal for the day-- yardwork, which I was able to accomplish a little.

I worked on the final touches for the brochure around noontime (yup! I am ahead of the sched). After which, I sent the final files and checked on my next tasks. I have 2 websites to set up here (I already got the FTP access for the new one).

Also, I am waiting for the Chief Tindero's revisions for Divisoria.com. I have worked for them full-time for almost 7 years (since year 2000) and I am still working for them once in a while. He had a proposal one time but I couldn't use my SS# for other business, plus, I couldn't even check some wholesale clothing stores here because I can't drive. We're not closing the doors yet, though. Who knows we can hit it sometime. For now, at least, business is still good, and my service is still sought-after. Blessing, it is! Moolah! Pambili ng lotion na nilalaklak ko! LOL!

Let's see if I can visit Manhattan on Thursday or Friday. I need to find a photo shop and get some images printed. But of course, I need to work on the images first.

Ugh!  Days, slow down! The goslings by the lake are not so goslings now...
