My Traffic Life

I am Mae German. 34 years old. Born in Mangatarem, province of Pangasinan. I was taught and trained by Juan Dela Cruz, and I am currently being trained for more by Uncle Sam. Writing since the age of 12. Blogging since 2001. I keep a notebook and a pen in my bag, on my bedside table, and inside the bathroom. Misses a lot. Sometimes even my own voice. Loves to laugh. Sometimes even at myself. I am a work in progress. My ultimate dream is to be a SAHM. That is, if I am bound to have that chance in this lifetime... and I am.

My Traffic Rules

Don't take my words personally. At times, not even literally. This is my journal. You're my reader. My spectator. Applaud. Yawp. Yawn. Smile. Frown. Rave. Rant. Or not. Neither can I see you from where I am standing nor can I hear you.

This is not my life. Maybe just a part of it. But this is me meandering through life. My emotions fluctuate. My opinion varies. If it's too hot in here and you can't take it, leave. If it's dull and too cold, go somewhere else for warmth. I won't wipe the frown on your brow.

My stories, unless stated otherwise, are mostly fictional. Fiction could be based on reality. Still, they are fiction. Don't own it. Don't live in it. It is what it is. Leave it.

Watch out for the traffic light. Follow the rules. Cruise.

Send a Gift

A 2-door Volkswagen GTI. I fell in love with it the first time I saw one on the road. Now I see myself browsing some sites on automobiles again and reading. Just reading.

Not so long ago, I was given the privilege to be a member of Mazda - Protege (Philippines) and was able to contribute a little research for their (old) website. Ask me about air intakes and I could answer back like I really knew something about it. That was a long time ago. Days of hopping from one car show to another are long gone (I have to thank my friends for the many rides). I have even stopped asking anyone to play some loud music so I could enjoy their car audio system, or utter a long "hhhuuu-wow!" then run to check what's inside the hood whenever I see a good car set up. Yes, I can talk about cars even if I didn't have one back then (I still don't own one now). I don't know why. Was it because of my love of speed? Or was it the Japanese anime, Initial D, that has set my budding passion in cars? Or simply, maybe it's just the dream of being able to drive as far as I want. Ugh! I can't even gather some strength and enough confidence to drive a car here! (Well, getting insured will prolly change everything. If only I could get a good offer.)

In the meantime, let me be-- an enthusiast in my own odd way. Forget about the Hummer and the Mini Cooper that I have dressed up online a few months ago. I am definitely getting a hot hatch... someday! *wink*
