This might be my first time to miss a Harry Potter movie. I am not a movie buff but whenever there is a good movie, I, together with my friends (it has been with the Elites, mostly, for the last couple of years), would set a date for a movie night, to be followed by a late dinner, dessert, and coffee. "When we're really old, are we still going to watch movies and hang out like this?" HP is (or was) a tradition. This is definitely my first time to miss watching it with them. It is sad but I have to deal with it. This and the many changes that have occurred for the last nine months. But I should say, we're all doing well. We're all moving forward and nobody is being left behind (I think). Distance was never a hindrance. We're in constant communication with each other online (they were practically with me since day one). We still share our own point of views, rants, and raves. We still talk about the movies that we watch, the books that we read, the events in our lives, health, beauty, and all. Anything under the sun, everything that makes sense (or not). They have kept me grounded and I am grateful for that. I am happy on how things are going. It's just that I am being sentimental right now because of HP. *sigh* |
