First things first! Thanks to Tito JC who did everything just so I could get my apple pie (and a lot more).
Fresh. That was the smell of my apple pie when it came to me. I loved the smell. If I wasn't too excited to open it, I could have sniffed more until I'm high with its smell. But it was already Sunday morning and I haven't slept yet from being awake the whole day and night of Saturday. I was working on some things that when 6am of Sunday came, I decided not to sleep and just wait for Tito JC's arrival (I didn't wanna doze off and miss Tito JC's call). When he finally arrived at my place, bangag na ako sa antok. LOL!
My plan was to sleep right after I get my apple pie.. IF (and only if) I could control not to tinker on my new gadget. But right after Tito JC left, I opened the bag (it's a Samsonite Interchange Backpack and Tito JC said I could keep it! Yey!), inside was a black Incase Neoprene sleeve which kept my apple pie hot & fresh. Except for the apple logo on my Macbook and its cables (which are white), everything is black, by the way.
One thing that I have learned in the past is always read the manual first of anything that you are not familiar with. Not everything is plug-n-play and I wasn't sure if this new gadget I have is one of those plug-n-play stuff that I've had in the past. For one, the power cable is weird for me. I have to read the manual about its battery and charging procedure over and over again as my mind was already numb and I think slow already from lack of sleep. Is it 220v? The manual didn't say anything about it. I had to ask MJ about it (thank God he was already awake) and he asked me to check on the Magsafe power adapter (a note should be there). And indeed, it was written there (me & my slow-thinking).
I slept for about an hour. When I woke up, the green light is on-- meaning it is fully-charged. I turned it on and saw that Mac OS X (Leopard) was already set-up. All I need to do is set up the bootcamp for the MS Windoze OS but I fell asleep...
At around 2pm, I received a message from MJ asking me how my installation was. I said I haven't really started on it yet. He has tried upgrading his old Mac OS to Leopard and bootcamp before but failed (that is something I was really worried about). Thanks to MJ for guiding me all through out the process of installation (plus the familiar keystrokes on macs), and to JS for providing me some Windoze software that I needed. GreenApple has now started her learning adventures.
Let me share to you the whole process in my Techie-Webby-Stop as soon as I have gained my momentum. Right now, all I can say is that I am happy and (so far) satisfied about my apple pie. One more software (SQL Server 2000) and there goes my sleeping-time out of the window. Work-work-work it is!
Thanks for the one-year supply of Centrum, too, by the way. Uhhhh... was the box of Sleep Aids for me, too, though? Sleep right now is just an option for me. LOL!
