Gifts Registry.
Saturday, 02 October 2010

Do you have a tenth anniversary gift for your favorite couple now? This solid aluminum vase is such a work of art, by the way, as things made of tin and aluminum are the traditional gifts for 10th wedding anniversaries. I have read somewhere: the pliability of tin and aluminum is a symbol of how successful marriage needs to be flexible and durable and how it can be bent without being broken.

Worry not. Gift-giving has never been so convenient and helpful nowadays with all these gift registries.

Last week, we bought gifts online for a couple and have it shipped straight to them. This week, we're sending a newly-wed another one. I really find it fun and exciting to give wedding anniversary gifts now. No hassle thinking, "would they like what I'd give?" or "wouldn't my gift be the same as the other guests' gifts?". Their needs and wants are all that matter in gift-giving. If you want a little surprise, then give some more that is not in their theme, right?

I am thinking, maybe I should get my own registry for my birthday and the coming holidays. Hmmm...
