Mon and Joy gave us some harvests from their garden-- green peppers, pepper leaves, parsley, and basil leaves. So tonight I thought of cooking Chicken Tinola (a Filipino dish). I bought chicken thighs worth $2, green papaya, and sayote (as I wasn't sure if the papaya is still green). I was excited to go home and cook (There's this lady on the bus wearing a cupless shelf bra I think. The man in fornt of him kept looking.). Anyways, that costs me $5 (the food, I mean). And I can even use the sayote for some other dish. So happy.
