You should feel my pulse! My heart is beating so fast, my feet and my hands are cold and sweating. Ewww! I know but I am too excited just by the thought of CHRISTMAS! Christmas is a season that could magnify all feelings. Sadness and sorrows could be felt a hundredfold and so with joy and gladness. Missing someone or even longing for someone could drag someone to tears as much as having that one special person in your life by your side. There will always be that one moment on Christmas eve that you'd stop and draw in and let out a sigh deeper than the ocean. Happy or sad, you will stop for a moment and wallow on it for awhile. But in cloud nine is where I am right now with just two simple reasons: One. My entry for the parol-making contest is almost done and ideas of doing some more, still keeps poppin' in my head! Winner or not, it really wouldn't matter. My heart was into it the day they announced the theme. I knew right then what materials to use. I just didn't know how it would look like (I don't do sketches) but now my imagination has paid off. I can't wait to show it to you! But then, I have to wait until the contest is over. Although I don't really like the word (and I am really not into it), still, this is a competition. *wink* Two. I have been wrapping gifts, give-aways, and prizes! I just love wrapping! Send me some more to wrap, puleeez! Now you know what makes me soar high these days. Hmmm... or it could be the caffeine from my badly brewed coffee that's kickin' in, huh? Well, that and the word, CHRISTMAS! Off to the basement now where Elmer is waiting! Plus, I am drying up some coffee granules! *wink* |
