I have to say these things, else my heart will burst. God is always good to me. Sometimes I have the tendency to ignore that, especially the small things; the things that some may think are not too important. But they are to me, of course. One: on Sunday, I had the cold-symptoms. I cannot be sick. I know I have mentioned in my previous blog what God did-- He gave me a day off; rest on Monday. I was feeling better on Tuesday. I still have the symptoms but I was able to go through this week. Two: Late last week, I think my Palm Centro phone, Pammy, is dying. Well, it has served its purpose for two years and my contract is ending soon, anyway; meaning, I have the opportunity to get a new unit (Thank God for the Regozo(s); they were the one who insisted on getting me a phone when I got here-- knowing I couldn't pay!). Question is, until when will Pammy live? I was afraid it might give up on me soon before the replacement comes. Three: on Thursday, instead of staying overnight at my work place, I was able to go home. I am always grateful for that. I always see it a "miracle". I am not really used to sleepovers. Four: Still on Thursday, Kuya Rey and Ate Shirley said my contract with Verizon will end on March 2. I can go to Staten Island to renew it on February 19. That's a relief. Knowing Pammy's situation, I was praying it'll stay with me for another week. I call it a landline now since it has to be connected to an outlet most of the time. Five: Today, Ate Shirley said she's not available On February 19. So, yeah. I got Pammy's replacement phone and Pido's partner yesterday. I named it Dida, a Droid X. See how fast God works on something? I am always amazed by that. Always! Now I am coughing a little and this cold-symptom I think will not go. It's probably a real cold now. I still have to do some business postcards but I think I'll beg off for now. I am drinking Theraflu and hopefully get a rest later. Oh! I need to cook pancit palabok, too. But I don't have shrimp. Blah. |
