My travel plans to Ohio and the west coast have been put on hold a hundred times already and I am still not there. Alright, that's pretty exaggerated but I can no longer count the number of times that I had to move my travel since I got here at Uncle Sam's. But I happen to be here, wherever I am, for a reason. I don't usually wonder why some things are happening and some aren't. I have established some of my beliefs here before-- things happen for a reason. The last time, it was two days before I left for Ohio: I had a killer back injury, which, until now, by the way, is still disabling me to move quickly and carry heavy stuffs (thanks to SC for the printed Herniated Disk Rehabilitation Exercises, I can do some of it while lying down and reading some reviews on murad). I was told that it's going to take at least four weeks before my back gets back to normal or at least for the pain to subside. Every day, I keep testing myself if I can push or pull my baggage but olah! Before that anticipated day, I got a call from NJ: I need to keep the kids a company on some days of the week. Meaning, travel plan is put on hold again. When I was crying because of the pain in my back, I was kidding God, He could just kill me with that pain. I couldn't see the reason why He's put me on hold again (I knew there's one, but I couldn't see it). I was all set for the travel: I even had my eyes on this Casio Exilim EX-H10 camera, I wanted a lighter digital camera for my travel; got a messenger bag instead of a back pack already, and I have already repacked my baggage for Spring instead of Winter. But I have to stay. My lower back pain had a reason after all (God, I knew You had Your reason). Call it coincidence. I call it a blessing in disguise. Anyways, there are the kids in NJ and a house in CT waiting to be furnished. These will keep me busy again. P.S. The ink for the Canon Pixma ip800 printer has arrived and I have a new gadget from Staples-- it's the 5-in-1 Paper Trimmer! Yay! Ohio and the west can wait but I should get up and try to bake that cheese cake now. ![]() |
