It's been a while since I last heard from the Chief Tindero. I would admit I miss doing banners for Divisoria.com. It is where I learned how to crop images using the old Adobe Photo De Luxe and then Photoshop. Although I already knew HTML (using MS Frontpage) before I started with them eight years ago, it is where my transition from being a programmer to web developer really came to actuality. From then on, everything was self-taught.
It is where I learned how to do classic ASPs using the only available text/script editor for me then-- the Notepad. It is where I learned some stuff about e-commerce and how to deal with customers and suppliers. And it is where my dream of working from home came true.
Divisoria.com, is not connected to what we, Pinoy, know as the Divisoria market or the ultimate bargain haven for some people. It's one of the questions asked from me when they learn that I work for this on-line store. It is actually one of the pioneers when it comes to e-commerce/ online stores (established in 1999). One cannot haggle but would be given discounts if you're a regular or if you're buying in bulk. Customer is always right and is always prioritized. They can even help you look for an item that you wish to buy but it's not in the (e-)store. I am not promoting. I am just happy to share because yesterday, I received an email from the Chief Tindero asking me to modify some stuff on some pages. The last time I made some changes was in September last year. I was already wondering what's going on (are they closing? Sayang!). And yesterday, the answer came...
It's business as usual at Divisoria.com. Go shop now!
