And He says, Wait.
Thursday, 05 February 2009

It took 11 years for my brother and SIL to conceive for their next child. They have been trying for some time and they have been praying. Waiting.

12 weeks and 6 days ago, God has given them the answer. When I received the news, I was happy. With the intercession of St. Daniel Comboni, I have been praying for them as well. Baby Dot was delivered safe and sound and now there's Baby Sac.

Here in the U.S., or any country that is more liberal than my country, they would refer to it, at first, as an embryo or a fertilized egg. My SIL said, on the first few weeks, her doctor told her "it's only a sac for now." Well, I call it Baby Sac. What? Like they expect something else would come out from those fertilized eggs? Kiddin'... I do understand where these people come from and I understand their point. This is just my two-cent. I am not that too conservative, only a believer.

So here's a few updates on Baby Sac's ultrasound (see? He's no longer "just a sac!"):

Noticed my use of He instead of She? It's just me but yes, we want a boy, this time! Talk about being specific on your prayers, eh? *wink*

And just when Baby Dot was delivered, 2 years and 40 weeks of waiting, and she now goes by the pretty name Klaire Abigail, by the way, I received another good news from one of my wacky partners in the Philippines. She's 8 weeks pregnant! Yey! Now she'll be shopping both for some maternity and wedding lingerie.

And still, God says "wait", for two of my friends. If you're reading this (you know who you are), I am praying not just for you. I am praying with you, guys.

And still on waiting...

My world awaits on how my life would turn out here. What's my next step? What will I become? Ahh! The undying question of a wanderer! I was expecting that I'd come up with a decision this week. Last night, I think I just did.

I am not joining my relatives in Utah for their Las Vegas trip on the 12th nor I can visit California soon because I received an update from my employer that says:
I will call my employee this afternoon then we will schedule the meeting early next week to pull them from the account then we will tell my manager that we will replace her with you so I say next week will be the deciding position for you to work for them.
Whatever "next week will be the deciding position for you" means, I say, clearly God is saying, "Wait some more, Mae. Wait some more."

And yes. I will be waiting... with FAITH (and M&Ms, and chips, and old movies-- it's The Legend of Bagger Vance today), I am waiting.
