I felt unproductive the last couple of days. I hate that feeling.

Although I was able to finish the brochure for the mother company on Tuesday, I still felt the rest of the week going down the drain slowly when we started setting up the MS SQL Server in the office, both on the server and on GreenApple's bootcamp. I wish I knew what to do. I wish the solution would just come poppin' out from nowhere to get things started in the development side of this one system that we're trying to work on. It has to be solved, the SQL Server has to be up and running soon because it will be the backbone of every project that we have been proposing to some clients. How does database administrators do it?! Heard that we're not using the version that I was used to. I know I have to start refreshing the little knowledge that I have in the old application and hope that I could cope up with the huge changes on the interface of the new version. But first, we have to have a successful installation.

I was drained on Friday. Mentally and emotionally. I couldn't even do a simple template in MS Word. My focus was nowhere to be found. I left the office around 3pm so I could catch my buses in Metuchen. I did not even notice if the PATH train made a stop in Harrison station (or not). I was surprised when it was the Newark Penn Station already, if not for the emptying car. It is the last stop from Journal Square.

I knew what was wrong with me. I needed some consolation and I knew from whom I could get the best one. My frustration on Friday was that I couldn't get to one of His places without missing my bus ride in Metuchen. I was thinking of the St. Patrick Cathedral in Manhattan.

I haven't found a place like the Greenbelt Chapel here in the U.S., where I can just walk in, sit, and spend some quiet time after a day's hard work. But I do know a Catholic church in Metuchen, which is around a quarter-mile from the rail station. I've never been to the Cathedral of St. Francis of Assisi and I had no idea if it's open that time of day. I missed my 5:30pm bus ride and it was an opportunity for me to walk and visit Him there. See if I could have the same satisfaction that I usually get from His place in Greenbelt Chapel.

My heart was heavy as I was walking along Main St., but I had my plans. I will hang out for a few minutes inside the cathedral then wait for my 6:30pm bus ride at the corner of Main St. and Route 27. I had to inform some people of my schedule for the next couple of days, too. At least I can do those stuff while waiting for my bus ride.

In an instant, I felt so much better and relieved when I got inside the Cathedral of St. Francis of Assisi. It felt like home. I had to ask someone if they're closing at 6pm but I was informed it won't close until 7pm. I could still hang out. I was also told about a chapel/tabernacle that is open 24/7. I had to pass by a cemetery to get there, the lady said. I wonder how big the cemetery is. *wink*. Anyway, that time, I was all right hanging out at the cathedral. I was settled until I got a message from Franco in reply to my confirmation about Saturday.

A few days ago, he has offered to give me a tour in Manhattan but he opted for Liberty Island when he learned that I haven't seen mareng Liberty face-to-face. Proposed day was Saturday. I wasn't sure of my availability until late this week. And when I was sure that it's possible for me to go out, Yahoo! Weather News says it's going to rain on Saturday. I thought he might want to re-sched the trip but instead he told me it's fine. Rain or shine, we'd go hop from Liberty State Park (New Jersey) to the islands of Ellis and Liberty (New York). Saturday was settled.

That same time, on Friday, he told me not take the bus home. He wasn't aware that I was already waiting for my bus ride until I told him where I was. He was craving for some sushi and I've realized how much he missed it when he started ordering a lot at some sushi bar in Woodbridge (was it in Woodbridge? Darn, my memory!). Yup! He made me eat rice-- I ate sushi! It was all good anyway. Almost wiped-out. I don't think he'd eat sushi again for like a year tho'. Then again, he could be right. There could be no sushi and no food-trippin' in the navy. LOL!

Saturday was the trip to Ellis and Liberty Islands. The Weather was good. The sun was up and shining. It never rained all throughout our trip from one island to another. I finally saw the face of mareng Liberty. My tour guide was good. Thank You, it was a breath of fresh air and it came at the right time.

I was glad I did not beg off from having dinner on Friday. That night has a rippling effect. Maybe not much to him or to anyone involved, but to me. It was a breather, an ice breaker. It took my mind off from a lot of things. I had a good time and lots of good laughs. And I can only be grateful for that. A drop of coin on my happy bank.

It'll be Monday once again and I am anticipating some loads this week. But I am once again, ready.

I have to design two logos, a business card, and I have to start working on a website for a new company (this, I have already started working on the last couple of days-- thanks to Ely for guiding me through Joomla!). The other logo, I have to do some brainstorming as it will be for a new company. May my creative juice ooze. Gotta get some boosting online. The SQL Server dilemma should be attended to ASAP. I can only pray for help to come. We'll see how this week would go.

It's 7:20pm and it's still bright outside. So, this is how it is here at Uncle Sam's on Spring time, huh? Weird but kewl! I think I should leave PJ outside now. There was no dose of sunlight for him since I started staying at Camp Regozo on weekdays and I am kinda guilty for that. I've totally forgotten about him for the past couple of weeks. I am just glad we survived the winter. Yes. PJ and I. We survived our first winter at Uncle Sam's. Happeee!

Ooppsss, it's raining with matching kulog! Wow. I miss that sound! LOL!
