Ouch, they are like abrasives. Cat's claws, that is. The only time that I am reminded to ask C to clip their nails is when I am down and bleeding from a scratch... or two.
Going back to my Christmas wishes...
I am really grateful for the gift of travel that my Auntie gave me. I love to travel and I really enjoy hopping from one state to another. I was blessed this Christmas. It actually started on my birthday (On my birthday, as an early present, C gave me a 14K white gold rosary ring and a share for me to get Pido. How sweet and cool is that, eh?). They are all material; but hey, let's not forget the thought and the joy of the giver and of course, the receiver; in this case, it's me. Yay!
Then I started receiving small gifts like gloves and hats and a plant (that I named PacMan); and let me not forget about the black soft leather bag from eBay! Now you think I should modify that set of images, eh? Wait until I tell you this... Ate Pam and Kuya Cris gave me a long wool coat for Christmas!!! I almost cried when I opened the gift; but of course I did not. Almost. But not quite. I have that feeling whenever I share this story to someone. I could even feel like I could jump for joy anytime.
And to complete (almost) my "dream on" list, I think I heard C mumble about getting my leather boots today. Sir H gave him a gift that he wanted to share some with me. Oh boy, oh boy, my hands are cold with excitement already and I am leaving for SF on the 22nd (and I received a check from T for a puto-bumbong treat!!!).
Yeah right, I know Christmas are for kids. But that's the way I feel every year, every Christmas. I missed sharing that feeling with my friends. But this year, I am sharing it with whoever I get to brush shoulder with. Even Bob, the cat, could feel it.
I swear with all these and all that is coming, God, I want to give back some more to You. Happy Birthday, Pareng Jes!
