A trick.

Some people, mostly guys, don't want to drink healthy drinks. They'd rather go for the instant. Soda, powdered iced tea or orange mix, etc. I always say, "That's all sugar and a little flavoring!"

Here is what I do. I shouldn't even call it a trick because I am doing it in front of them. I make my own cold red tea with mint using green tea. Here are my ingredients:

12 green tea bags
sugar (quantity should depend on your taste buds)
2-3 spoon of Grenadine syrup (yes, the one that you use for your cocktails)
a bundle of fresh mint leaves
4.5 Liters of water
4pcs of Lemon

Just boil the water; pour into your glass container with the tea bags in it; squeezed in the lemon; add sugar; mix; add grenadine syrup; mix; and add the mint leaves. That's it. Much better than a cold Nestea Iced Tea.

And because green tea could help in digestion, who would need the weight loss vitamins in my pack? No one.

I know I can be controlling sometimes. But hey, here is my piece: if you want to ruin your health and if you want to keep that bulging stomach, go on, gulp on that soda.

P.S.
C bought 4 boxes of canned soda a few weeks ago because it was on sale. I dislike this kind of thinking but well, we're old enough to know what's good and what's bad for us. At some point I told him, "If you want to die before I do, keep doing that." Yeah, I can be brutal sometimes.I just can't help but react. And I am not sorry about it. This is MY opinion and I know I have a point.
