| A Lazy Foot on the Block |

"Do you know how to drive?" This time, it was my brother who asked me while we were on his blue automatic sedan, driving around town checking on the block's bulky wastes (we might see something interesting from other people's trash, eh?). "Yes. I know how to drive." "You drive when we're on our block." And so I did and I'd say I felt weird driving an automatic. One thing of course is because of the missing clutch pedal and the thought that you are fully in control. Another thing is, his sedan's steering wheel was lighter than the Toyota Vios from my driving school. "You have the wrong foot on the break!" "Uhh.. Na-ah! This is the (right) foot for the break when you're driving a manual (stick shift) car!" Now he remembers. *hehehe* Nope. I can't drive around this town. Not yet. But let me practice on our block and we will sure gain enough confidence on my driving. While I can't, let me continue driving without a lazy foot on my stick shift mini-truck. I wuv stick-shift, and yes, I enjoy driving the lawn mower! (*teehee* If I could only do it everyday!) |
