RE left the country for a dive/tour in some exotic island in Malaysia. I was left in the office for the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of the two systems. Each had to be tested before she comes back next week so we asked the users to see me everyday. One system should be tested in the morning, the other one in the afternoon. We could do it at the same time but I don't think I'd like to divide my attention. I had my schedule fixed but this morning when I called two of the users and asked them for confirmation, both of them said they have to do some loads first before they go to my area. Then the one scheduled in the afternoon begged off, said she's got an important thing to do. I need the users now else I might get busted by JS. We can't afford to slack off and cause any delay. Hmmm... If I could just leave them some Post-Its to remind them I'd do that. Thermal labels would be fun, too. *hmmm... thinking* Seriously, I really want the systems to be up sooner than our deadline so we could all transfer to our Makati office. I love it there. I could have my coffee any time I want (there's a vendo and two Starbucks near the building), or I could have my Tazo green tea every day! I could use the stairs instead of the elevator (we're at the 6th floor). And I could do my 45-minute brisk walk going home. Those things, I miss doing. Oh well, I haven't finished working on my project here at home but I won't stay long in front of GreenApple tonight. I'm excited. I just bought two Reader's Digest and I can't wait to read them all!
Anyway, sharing some of our pictures taken last week: [Photos by K. Dela Cruz; Layout by M.German]
And I am off to my reading... Ciao!
