You read it right. Today, I COOKED! Cool

I don't really cook. Maybe I used to  (a few years ago) when I was living in my own apartment where I had my own kitchen. But I don't remember cooking adobo and my fried fish would even ask for justice whenever I dare fry one.

[Taken some time in February, 2004 from Adinille: Disclosed]

See what I mean?

In the past years, I survived (either) because I am with a housemate who's a great cook, or I buy my meal on some kitchenette, and sometimes on fast food stores.

Ever since I transferred here in Makati in 2004, where I am only renting a room, my landlady (sometimes her daughter, D) does the cooking for me. Today, for some reason, I grabbed the task from them in cooking chicken-liver adobo (a Pinoy dish with vinegar and soy sauce). I wuvvv chicken-liver. I do not know how to cook adobo, though. I think the last time I tried cooking one was when I was 16 or 17 years old. My Kuya guided me through it. We ended up with something that tasted like beef steak instead of adobo. Do not ask me how I did that. *grins*

Today, I am proud to announce: My adobo tasted like adobo! Again, don't ask me how I did it (there's such word as tsamba yah know! LOL!). I just put everything in a pan (saute of chopped garlic, chicken-liver, soy sauce, vinegar, and a bag of black pepper), sprinkled sugar, left it cooking for about 15 minutes (constantly checking on it tho'--- and praying helped by the way *hehe*), that's it! An instant chicken-liver adobo for our dinner!

*bows*
