I am planning to tear down the aluminum insulators in my room. As much as I wanted to block the heat and too much sunlight passing through my room, I needed more air now. Summer heat is getting unbearable nowadays. The exhaust fan that I have installed before is now useless. I need to save up for some roller shades. I don't like blinds. Light could still pass through them and it's hard to clean them.
If I can afford to fix my windows and if our landlord will allow us to do so, I'd install some exterior shutters instead, or an AC would be great (if I can afford one now). But they wouldn't allow us to drill on their building that's why I had to be contented with my two electric fans (one of which is an industrial fan) and my exhaust for the past years. And I really want my room to be dark when I am sleeping, hence, the insulators. Now I want more air and some roller shades. Final. Roller shades, it is.
