I am happy to see people in the gym who'd rather sweat the hard stuff in losing weights rather than taking some weight loss pills. Exercise! It's the healthiest way. My PT was not around today but two of the gym instructors were kind enough to assist me in my work out. One even gave me some ideas on what to really eat when I want to tone up some muscles. (1) No rice-- well, that's not new since I don't really eat rice. He has suggested that I take potatoes, sometimes pasta instead. Both are my favorites. (2) Moderate your sugar-intake-- alright, this one, I'm going to have a hard time controlling. (3) No salt-- This one, too. (4) Use healthy cooking oil such as corn oil, olive oil, and the like-- and definitely this one since I am not the one who cooks my food. I haven't decided if I should try that kind of diet though. You know how much I love to eat. *wink* Although I am not really into body-building, I'd like to tone up some of my flabs especially in my triceps (not too much on my biceps because mine were kinda toned already) and my abs (although they are not for showing-off purposes). We're working on those slowly. Keeping an account of every improvement/ development could really be interesting. I can't wait to step on that weighing scale again. *tee hee* But I gotta listen to my body. My PT was alarmed when he learned that I don't get enough sleep lately. I only get 5 hours (at most) of sleep every night. Right, we have 24 hours a day and I get to sleep 24 hours a week. Don't tell my mom. The whole month of May will be the sportsfest in the office. JS asked me to join their badminton team as one of their players cannot play. We have practice/games every Monday and Wednesday. Tournament will be every Saturday. My regular gym sched was supposed to be MWF but I had to move it to TThF and/or Sunday. Either I play badminton or go to the gym, I get home around 11pm. There are nights that I am already multi-tasking: reading my emails (I can't even type a decent reply now) while unloading my badminton gear and loading my gym gear for the next day (or the other way around). Tonight I was munching while washing my work-out clothes (never wait before they dry-up with your own sweat, that's my #1 rule). And what's worse is that most part of my article was written on a draft. Yup, I have learned to sneak out just so I can write. All for my passion in writing I would say. *hehe* And now I have to end this post with a zzzZZZ... Pardon me.
